Can Music Save Lives?
My best friend’s sister had recently been in a car accident and was in a coma for several weeks. It was a tense time for the family because her doctors had said her prognosis was grim. I had started taking worship guitar lessons a few months prior to the accident and asked her doctor if it would be ok if I brought my guitar in to play for her. With the doctor’s permission I brought my guitar in every afternoon and played worship songs and sang to her. I had quite a few visitors from other rooms as well! My friend’s sister did make a full recovery and I firmly believe that my music helped her.
