When traxxas first started rolling out their Titan 12T 550 motor they needed this baby to have some speed, so they made the XL-5 electronic speed control. The traxxas XL-5 speed controls is very good for delivering high current and also comes standard with the new EZ-Set one button setup. The traxxas XL-5 allows any user to rip up the road at speeds of over 40 miles per hour, now I am not a pro by any means but that speed is pretty fast for a traxxas electric rc car speed controller. With all sorts of speed controllers on the market today traxxas is definitely leading the pack.
