Consumers can finally access free instant credit reports
As far as I’m concerned this is long overdue. There’s no reason why consumers should have to struggle and bag to get a copy of their credit report, when any potential lender can get one for free. But if the person in question wanted to get their own free instant credit reports, they would basically have to get turned down for credit or they’d be out of luck. Now that we can finally get access to the same information that lenders do, we can finally start to negotiate with them unfair terms and get lower interest rates and deals that are better.
