What Is A Professional Employer Organization?

Many of us may have read about the type of organizations that are created to help manage the more complicated employee related issues like workers comp and so forth. However, we may not know exactly what a PEO (also referred to as a Professional Emloyer Organization) really is. Essentially, a PEO is a way for the employer to deal with some issues and concerns that employees may have (such as human resources related type of things) without having to be directly involved. A PEO can really slash the amount of time that an employer has to deal with issues involving their employees.
