My mother started working on a family tree when I was in high school. At the time I was not particularly interested in what she was doing. Our family was somewhat close, and I knew quite a few of my cousins fairly well. We met at holidays and I didn’t think of myself as missing anything. Later, I had an internship with a public records office that piqued my interest these types of searches, but also showed me how intimidating they can be. When the web first started everything was brand-new because it was new content but now some of the content is 10 years old. For example you may find a particular discount is 10 years old. Unlike me,  my dentist’s assistant is always in a good mood at work, gets to talk to interesting people all day, and feels like she is helping make people’s lives better.  I became interested in her job and asked her how to go about comparing dental assistant schools and she suggested several websites.  I told her I wanted to know about the courses, just to make sure I could handle them.  She told me that information was on the sites as well.  Researching those schools was the smartest thing I ever did because it led to my enrollment in one of them.  I am now almost through with my studies and will soon be working in a local practice.

You never know what you’re going to find online. I either use a search engine to type in a particular search term which then takes me to a list of webpages or I do what I called the hunt and peck. Sometimes I’m taken to one website and I see an article or a link or an advertisement and I click it and takes me somewhere else. I happen to run across this site when I was looking for a rankpay promo code and came across this new site.  well it probably is not a new site but it is new to me. The site is fascinating as it allows you to upload presentations and documents and then it converts them so that they can be found online. You can send a link to your colleagues and point into entire presentation and that presentation can be found online by others because they may find this key words. I lived in Provo many years ago and met a guy at work when I was doing data entry. His name was Bob and one day we went out to lunch together. He never said so, but I was pretty sure he was an exmormon. Have you ever felt caught in a dead end job, doing something day after day that you don’t find rewarding or even interesting?  That’s when you know it is time to find a career, not just a job. Luckily, in our computer age, your new career may be just a few web searches away.  You may be interested in some aspect of the medical field, or you may want to explore online paralegal schools, to learn to work behind the scenes for a law firm.  Whatever you decide, you can rest assured, that with some hard work, before long, you will be well on your way to that new, fulfilling career.

Here are two memory exercises you can practice and then use as needed.

1. Link items in a story. If you need to remember a list of items or facts, link them in a story. Make it a simple yet unusual story in your mind. For example, to recall a shopping list that includes milk, bread, napkins and cat litter, you might see yourself laying out a napkin in front of a box of cat litter and then pouring milk in the litter, mixing it up and scooping it onto bread. Try it and you’ll see that it’s hard to forget the four items now.

2. Associate things. The idea here is to purposefully associate one thing with another so when you see one the memory of the other is triggered. For example, if you need to remember to bring a book with you when you leave the house, you could imagine finding books inside your shoes. Make the image vivid enough and when you go to put on your shoes you should recall that you need to bring the book.

In order to train to become a certified surgical technologist, you must enter into a formal training program that is offered by many different types of schools such as community colleges, universities, hospitals, and vocational schools. You will then be required to complete the classroom education as well as supervised clinical experience. There are two kinds of poverty: poverty of wealth and poverty of knowledge. It is very difficult to excel in any field if either of this is present in a student. I try to erase this imbalance and bring in good changes in the society by tutoring knowledge-wise poor and wealth-wise poor children during weekends. As our forefathers have said the value of a person or thing would be felt only if that person or thing is not with us. Similarly, the students who come to me have the determination to gain knowledge, succeed in life and serve the nation well. Tutoring such kids is really a great experience and I’m happy that I get a dose of it every weekend. I try my level best to impart all my knowledge to each and every student so that everyone is neither financially poor nor intellectually poor.
