Abductory Twist

Everyone’s pattern of walking which is called ‘gait’ is different and is considered unique just like finger prints and signatures as there are many variations in the way we walk. The foot can either turn in or turn out, the foot can be twisted to the inside or twisted to the outside. But there is a particular gait characteristic called an abductory twist wherein the heel twists inwards as the heel comes of the ground. Sometime a slow motion video is needed in order to see it properly and it can cause problems further up the leg. The cause of this condition further needs investigation.
