The Long Talk
My daughter came to me the other day. She was very sad. She told me that she had been having problems with her boyfriend, and wanted to know how to stop a break up. I told her that the most important thing in a relationship is honesty. I said she needed to make sure that she wasn’t playing games with her boyfriend, and to make sure that he wasn’t either. I said that if they are open and honest with each other it will be easier to work things out. She just came and told me that they talked, and everything it better now.
