Eating healthy in Today’s World
In a day and age where many are conscious about the foods they eat, poultry and fish are two food groups that seem to get more attention. These foods are lower in fat but have the same amount of protein than say a nice juicy steak or a thick pork chop. You can get tired of eating the same things over and over again so its important to be able to find recipes that you like whether it be a quick and easy dinner like baked lemon pepper chicken or an alternative to the fish sticks you ate as a kid such as baked salmon recipes with various sauces that are more sophisticated for the adult palate. Either way, in a health conscious society, the trend in eating these days is a diet with more poultry and fish in it and less red meat. To keep it interesting, one must remember that variety is important and that its ok to try new things.
