equity release and your mortgage
Many people feel that equity release is different from normal mortgages but actually there are a lot of similarities. However, just cause there are similarities does not mean that equity release and mortgages go together like a horse and carriage and love and marriage. So, how do they not go together? Well thats simple. equity release states that you should only have a small amount of mortgage left on your property and any mortgage that you do have must be cleared off with the equity you release so that a house with no mortgage is more suitable for equity release than others.
