Mies van der Rohe Iconic Barcelona Chair
I grew up in a home full of antiques. It was an eclectic collection of early American and Victorian. I don’t know how I became a modern furniture lover, but I did. I think it was the first piece I bought. I was looking or a side table for my living room and decided upon an Eileen Gray table. While in the furniture store I spotted both an Eames Chair and Ottoman and a Barcelona Chair and Ottoman. I couldn’t rest until that Barcelona Chair and ottoman were sitting in my living room. They’re my favorite pieces of furniture and the ones everyone wants to sit in.
