Once your fruit is prepared and treated, it’s ready for the fruit dehydrator. Arrange the fruits in single layers, with space between them for even drying. Fruits that are overcrowded will not dry properly in your dehydrator. In addition, overloading the dehydrator will also lengthen drying times and therefore increase energy consumption. Because different fruits have different juice contents, some will take longer than others to dehydrate.
