the great acai scam of 2009
I think 2009 went in the books as the year of the great acai scam. I follow natural health pretty closely and I’ve never seen such a backlash against an otherwise good product as I did last year when there were so many scams really souring people to the notion of taking an acai berry supplement. My first experience with the acai berry was actually back in 2005 – long before most people had ever even heard of the stuff – I was interested to see if it had any magical effects . I found it to be good but there was no magic and fireworks and since I was spending over $1000 per month on supplements, it didn’t make the cut when I scaled back.
