People Just Want to Stay Connected
I pay attention to people, the things they do, and the reason they do them. Over the years I’ve noticed that, for the most part, we are more alike than different. For instance, every culture and every person I know wants to stay connected to someone, for some reason. Even at a very early age we string cans together to create makeshift walkie-talkies. My granddaughter’s favorite toy is her plastic telephone. From Native American smoke signals to high-tech businesses with their Phone book directory information online, human beings work hard at, and sometimes profit by, is keeping in touch. Personally, I think that’s one of the better things about us.
