Hopefully it could be our big break
I was stoked when I got a call the other night inviting my band to open a concert at the great lake centre. Not only were we getting a pretty nice paycheck for it but they were also taking care of our free state accommodation and providing meals and drinks at one of the local pubs, so we were all very happy with that. It’s a pretty big deal for us as we have never really played any big gigs before and to have the opportunity to open for one of the biggest bands in the country is quite amazing. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.
