Nike has spent millions and millions of dollars trying to sign the next biggest athlete to come along to a contract. No expense is to great when it comes to getting the top athlete at the time to sign a contract to wear the company’s shoes in all the game. This gives the company more exposure on game day, and when kids see that their favorite athlete wears a certain kind of shoes then they want it to. In other countries the Soccer players get the big contracts.
