How much electricity does my gear use?
In this day and age it seems like everyone is cutting down on all of their expenses they can. I know that in our Phoenix laptop repair company we are significantly cutting down on many expenses. You may not realize how much electricity your electronic equipment is using, and it may be a lot.
For instance did you know that the average Plasma TV uses around 339 watts versus the equivalent LCD which uses only 213 watts. Now there is new technology that Samsung is leading on with LED screens. The screens are super, super thin around an inch thick, and they actually use 40% less energy so around 125 watts. So not only can you use less electricity and help the environment, you can look good doing it too.
