Onlive announced their new cloud gaming system in the end of March, and has seen a huge number of beta testing signups since then.  Their beta version is going to allow players to test the new system totally free.  Out of this, Onlive will be able to tell if the system will really work, and what adjustments need to be made if any.  Onlive beta testing is supposed to launch in the summer of 09, which is only a couple months away.  The latest rumor is that it will open it’s doors in mid July, but this has not been confirmed by the company itself.  After this, the official launch of the system is scheduled for the winter of 2009.
